Popis: | Complications occurring after vascular catheterization include infection, hematoma, arterial pseudoaneurysm, thrombosis, arteriovenous fistula, and nerve injury.1 Venous pseudoaneurysms are uncommon. We present a case in which color flow duplex sonography provided a noninvasive method for diagnosing this vascular abnormality. Recognition of this abnormality and differentiation from arterial injury may affect the decision to treat, the choice of treatment, or the time at which treatment is instituted. CASE REPORT |
