Popis: Open defection is a worldwide scenario, two billion of people not accessing basic sanitation facilities. Open defection leads to social, health, and environmental issues, especially for vulnerable people, who are most affected. The women are facing threats to their privacy and dignity, sexual violence, and psychological stress. Malnutrition and stunting issues, as well as the spread of waterborne and vector-borne diseases in Earth's space, have a negative impact on children. The huge number of people practising in open fields in rural India. So, the government of India implemented the scheme of Swachh Bharat Mission. This scheme's main objective is to reduce the open defection status through toilet accessibility. According to the most recent WHO/UNICEF Joint Monitoring Programme report, 22% of Indians continue to practise in open fields in rural areas. There is a need for the verification of the use of toilets constructed under the Swachh Bharat Mission in rural India.
