101 Cases of Exfoliative Dermatitis

Popis: One hundred and one previously unreported cases of exfoliative dermatitis are discussed. Clinical and laboratory findings are reviewed, and their relationship to the etiologic diagnosis is analyzed. It is not possible to prove the etiology in most cases; but where such could be found, it was most commonly a previous skin disease that had become generalized. Eight cases were proven to have lymphoma or leukemia. Seventy-three patients recovered, 19 died of complications of the disease, 8 were lost to follow-up, and 1 is known to still have the disease after 27 years.
