Popis: | The purpose of this paper is to present the use of Numerical Weather Prediction software to generate 4D-meteorological parameters for the characterization and simulation of tropospheric scintillation for geostationary and non-geostationary Earth-satellite links. A preliminary test has been performed against measurements at 30 degree elevation for a geostationary satellite link and an analysis of the turbulence characteristics on a low elevation Earth-space link has been proposed. |
