Popis: | 1. 1. The ultraviolet absorption of the proteic fractions of Macropipuspuber male serum, separated by electrophoresis on two different selective media, has been investigated. 2. 2. All the cuproproteic fractions exhibit two absorption bands, the first one at 280 nm, the second one at about 345 nm. For the last band, maximum absorption occurs at different wavelengths according to the electrophoretical fraction under examination. The most frequently found values are 332, 337, 342 and 352 nm. 3. 3. The nature of these fractions showing hemocyanin characteristics is discussed. |
