Popis: | Tribe Ophiotettigini Tumbrinck et Skejo, 2017 Diagnosis: Narrow scutellum (almost invisible), prolonged head on the top of which there are prominent eyes, lack of wings, foliaceous apical segments of maxillary palpi. Type genus: Ophiotettix Walker, 1871 Genera included and their distribution: Paraspartolus (the Philippines), Ophiotettix (New Guinea), and Spartolus (the Philippines), from now on including Threciscus syn. nov. of. Spartolus.
