| Popis: | A complex between tryptophan and insulin has been isolated by column chromatography. Results of the experimentation suggest that the complex is stable and that the indole ring system of tryptophan is the reactive center. A binding ratio of two molecules of tryptophan per molecule of insulin has been found. (Endocrinology 90: 947, 1972) |
