Popis: In conclusion, a scaffold-free cartilage tissue with arbitrary shapes and a large size with promising biological, mechanical properties was formed. The scaffold-free cartilage loaded mechanical stress based on a high porous simple mold system may become tools of not only therapies for diseases such as osteoarthritis and osteochondrosis dissecans as a tissueengineered cartilage, but also clarification of the mechanisms of cartilage formation and therapeutic treatment instead of conventional pellet culture system.
