Popis: | For the first time a continuous wave RF pumped atomic xenon laser was operated in a two mode regime. Simultaneous generation on two orthogonally polarized longitudinal modes was observed in the range from 0.5 to 145 MHz close to the maximum possible range. An anisotropic element was used to control the inter-mode fre- quency difference and mode coupling. |
