Popis: The most commonly diagnosed tumor in the skeleton represents metastatic disease. Metastatic carcinoma should be the first consideration in older patients with atypical radiologic findings or clinical features suggestive of a bone lesion. The primary goal in the setting of skeletal metastasis is usually palliation.
