An economic concept was designed to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of selected biosecurity measures to reduce the foodborne pathogens Salmonella and Hepatitis E along the pork production chain. The concept uses established quantitative microbial risk assessment models and assesses the selected biosecurity measures with applicable economic methods. |
