Popis: | Commercial units already on the market use steel spacer pellets so that non-magnetic active sources can be separated at the end of the treatment using the magnetic property of these pellets. Since these sources are constantly under mechanical impact during transport, their mechanical endurance in the author's system is investigated. Experiments were performed under controlled conditions using two types of spacer pellets, steel and nylon. The results indicate that spacers of nylon or a similar material should be used. |
