Popis: Introduction: Lyme disease, which is endemic to some regions of our country, is an important infectious disease that can lead to severe neurological sequela. Lyme cases have been reported since the year 1990 in Turkey. The disease is usually seen in temperate climates in spring and summer where farms and forests co-exist. Diagnosis is established sing combination of clinical signs and serological tests, and the prognosis is better when diagnosed and treated earlier. In this study, the lyme cases reported from Turkey were evaluated for clinical features, diagnosis, treatment, and the risk of disease transmission. Materials and Methods: The studies were screened on www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov and google scholar databases using key words, lyme disease and Turkey. The cases were evaluated for gender, age, clinical findings, clinical forms, diagnostic methods and treatment form by using pool analysis method. Results: A total of 50 cases were evaluated and 21 of them were in the later stages of the disease on admission. Nineteen of the cases were diagnosed with Borrelia IgM positivity and four patients with clinical findings. Usually, doxycycline was preferred as therapy option for adults and amoxicillin was preferred for children. Cefriaxone was in the forefront in the patients having systemic findings. Conclusion: As a result of the evaluation, it was observed that the incidence rate of cases in the acute period was low, and many cases could not be diagnosed. In a few prevalence studies in some regions, a high percentage of Borrelia IgG positivity was observed, but case reports from these regions were not high. In this case, it is possible that some cases will be overlooked without being diagnosed and some cases may be misdiagnosed.
