Popis: | The angiographic findings in 84 cases of aortocoronary venous bypass grafts are described. Selective femoral artery catheterization was used whenever possible. In patent functioning grafts, graft size was proportional to that of the grafted artery, anastomoses were open, there was prompt clearing of contrast medium, and good filling of the grafted artery. Non- or malfunctioning grafts showed stenoses, filling defects, and occlusions. Other studies used to evaluate graft function included coronary arteriography, left ventriculography, and left ventricular function studies. Of the 117 single and multiple grafts studied, 70% were demonstrated to be patent and functioning. |
