Popis: | Leca, Dejean, Huault and Gond investigate how actors engage in institutional work through artefacts and how those artefacts contribute to the institutionalization of new practices. Building on an analysis of the early stages of the institutionalization of socially responsible investment (SRI) in France, they highlight three effects of artefacts as enabling, constraining and entangling practices. They also use the case study as an opportunity to sketch out an integrative approach to artefacts consistent with the tenets of institutional theory. It further sheds light on the relations between artefacts, discourse and practices in institutional processes. |
