Today, there is no doubt that the formation of an innovation policy for regional development should be based on theories of the regional economy, as they give an idea of the patterns of socio–economic development of regions, regional reproduction processes, the ability to develop measures for the recurrence of some negative economic phenomena, development of regions. In general, the foundations of regional economic theories are an intellectual scientifically grounded tool for developing effective solutions and recommendations for the development of regions that meet the requirements of the present. When forming an innovative policy for the development of regions and choosing the main priorities for its implementation, it is necessary to focus on these and other economic doctrines and theories. After all, they ultimately ensure the effectiveness of innovative ways for the development of regions and provide an opportunity to «get around» numerous stages in the process of regional development. And this, in turn, is a distinctive feature of the innovation policy of regional development from other regional politicians. That is why, an important task is to take into account research on this issue by scientists in the field of innovation and innovation policy.   |
