Popis: | Tear trough deformity is one of the most common cosmetic concerns when it comes to facial rejuvenation in the Indian population. It is seen in a wide age group from 20 years of age to over 70 years of age. The tear trough deformity is restricted to the tear trough in most younger people but as one ages, the tear trough deformity includes the entire region under the eye and is better known as the infraorbital hollow. Hyaluronic acid fillers have been the fillers of choice in the treatment of the tear trough nonsurgically. Many treatment techniques have been described in literature. Both needles and cannulas have been used with equal efficacy. The author chooses to use both the needle and cannula in the same session to treat tear trough for a better cosmetic outcome with lesser chances of side effects. |
