Popis: | The congestion control algorithm (CCA) of Multipath TCP (MPTCP) mainly portrays two fundamental challenges to properly utilize the available bandwidth. First, MPTCP should provide an incentive over single-path TCP while not harming any existing single-path TCP flows when sharing the same bottleneck. Second, it should better utilize the paths by ensuring high throughput with low packet losses. We focus to improve the second goal by implementing a novel technique to dynamically control the decrease factor of the CCA depending on the interval between packet losses. We implemented it in Linux kernel and found a significant performance improvement by extensive the Mininet experiments. |
