This is the presentation of the homonymous paper, which presents a dynamic task allocation algorithm. Its function is to dynamically allocate the supervision of tasks of many autonomous operations to suited operators. The proposed algorithm accounts for the workload capacity of an operator and a balanced work distribution over all operators. We propose an iterative deepening depth-first search algorithm to find the optimal allocation. Through a series of simulated experiments, we show how our proposed algorithm results in a versatile method that can distribute a series of complex operations to operators effectively, both in terms of computational effectiveness as well as workload distribution. |
