Popis: International audience; The Internet as we know it today is a critical infrastructure composed by communication services and end-user applications transforming all aspects of our lives. Recent advances in technology and the inexorable shift towards everything connected are creating a data-driven society where productivity, knowledge, and experience are dependent on increasingly open, dynamic, interdependent and complex networked systems. The challenge for the Next Generation Internet (NGI) is to design and build enabling technologies, implement and deploy systems, to create opportunities considering increasing uncertainties and emergent systemic behaviours where humans and machines seamlessly cooperate.
