Popis: In this section is described the characterization activities of the magnetic and mechanical properties carried out by RINA-CSM on candidate materials for the construction of the motors. Based on characteristics available by the materials suppliers and considering the requirements of the motors designer, four Non-Grain Oriented (NGO) materials with different thickness have been preliminarily selected for magnetic characterizations at RINA-CSM. Scope of the characterization is to provide accurate data, allowing the final material selection for the design and realization of the motors prototypes.
