The aim of the present protocol is to characterize inhibitory motor control in adults with PUD and adults with ADHD in comparison with their controls identifying the most affected motor inhibitory control variables in each disorder, and subsequently to determine which disorder shows greater alterations. As primary variables, we will include the measures related to inhibitory control from the Stop Signal task (Stop Signal Reaction Time, SSRT, correct inhibition) and the Go/no go task (commission errors, i.e. failed inhibitions in No-go trials). Complementary measures will be classified as secondary measures (reaction time and hits on Go trials, etc.). Our analysis will focus first on obtaining the effect sizes derived from the comparison between adults with PUD and their neurotypical controls, and between ADHD adults and their respective controls. Then, we will contrast the effect sizes obtained for each disorder. |
