Popis: | Pulsed laser-induced surface damage measurements were made on eighteen well-characterized optical coatings as part of a round-robin experiment involving eight laboratories in Europe and the United States. The test apparatus, experimental procedures, and data reduction methods are described in detail. Conventional failure thresholds and minimum intensities are tabulated for several failure modes on all samples. Damage onsets are reported for two samples. Factors which must be considered when comparing results obtained with different temporal and spatial profiles are discussed. |
