| Popis: | Several optically active 2-methyl butylethers of phenols have been prepared and the effect of differently substituted groups in the phenolic portion of the ethers on the optical rotation hesbeen studied. The optical rotations in substituted mono-ethers are \(p\)- >\(m\)->\(o\)-. in the case of substituted di-ethers, the optical rotations are \(o\)-> \(p\)- > \(m\)-. |
