Popis: | The use of evidence-based practice for improving patient care outcomes is discussed extensively in the literature. This article describes how a model for change to evidence-based practice developed by Rosswurm and Larrabee was used for the effective implementation of the American Stroke Association's Acute Stroke Program in an acute care hospital. The results demonstrated that patient care and outcomes were improved through the implementation of this exemplar of evidence-based practice. |
