TALUD XV, St. 1 (23��18'40''N, 111��19'37''W), Aug 4, 2012, 7 males (CL 29���46 mm) and 15 juv. (CL 15���27 mm), BS operated at 750���850 m (ICML-EMU-12297); St. 5C (23��16'42"N, 110��54'55"W), Aug 5, 2012, BS operated at 980���1036 m, 8 males (CL 32���49 mm), 7 females (CL 35���46 mm), 30 juv. (CL 17���29 mm) (ICML-EMU-12299), 1 male (CL 33 mm), and 31 juv. (CL 16���26 mm) (ICML-EMU-12996); St. 5E (23��05'22���N, 110��27'54''W), Aug 6, 2012, 5 males (CL 30���46 mm) and 4 females (CL 33���46 mm), BS operated at 948���954 m (ICML-EMU-12298). TALUD XVI-B, St. 17 (29��54'18"N, 116��01'30"W), May 29, 2014, 1 female (CL 47 mm) and 4 males (CL 20���28 mm), BS operated at 734���774 m (ICML-EMU-12321). Distribution. East Pacific, from California and western Mexico; Indian Ocean (Ibarra Rivera & Hendrickx 2008). In western Mexico it has been reported throughout the central-southern Gulf of California (Ibarra Rivera & Hendrickx 2008) and it is herein reported from several localities along the west coast of the Baja California Peninsula (Fig. 5). Remarks. With 108 specimens collected during this survey in only three stations, G. scapularis was by far the most numerous species in the samples.
