Popis: | Receptiveness is a guideline of the National Humanization Policy that establishes the basic principles of the National Health System (SUS). The waiting room is part of the theoretical and practical discussion of receptiveness. The need for actions to promote implementation of this guidance has inspired the creation of the first research on music therapy at a primary healthcare unit. This article presents the results from this research, which had the aim of contributing towards the reception through music therapy in the waiting room, by means of the operational category of waiting. The methodology consisted of a qualitative approach and involved interviews and music therapy activities. The results revealed the users' outrage about the long waiting times and turned the place into an area of care, autonomy and protagonism. The research showed that music therapy is a strategy to be disseminated to other primary healthcare units. |
