The article dwells upon the analysis of peculiarities of the emotional and assertive interrogative sentences of phraseological structure (ISPS) functioning in the context of speech acts of assertion. The peculiarity of the emotional and assertive interrogative sentences of phraseological structure lies in communicating the speaker’s emotional reaction (positive or negative) concerning specific facts of reality. Communicating emotions by means of such sentences prevails over communicating logical information. Emotional character of such sentences is determined not only by the structural patterns, situation of use and context, but also by emotional vocabulary. |
