Popis: | The detachable balloon technique is a simple means of accomplishing the endovascular treatment of both carotid cavernous sinus and vertebral fistulae. This technique has the advantage of preserving the cerebral blood flow, which is impossible with a nondetachable balloon catheter. The authors successfully treated three vertebro-vertebral fistulae with a detachable balloon and conserved the vertebral blood flow. |
