| Popis: | Two cases of infants born from pregnancies complicated by large placental chorioangiomas causing congestive heart failure in the neonate as the main complication are presented. Chorioangiomas may be diagnosed early in pregnancy by ultrasound examination. Since both their maternal and their neonatal complications may indicate premature termination of the pregnancy or be conducive to premature birth, repeated ultrasound examinations, including fetal echocardiography, are suggested in order to optimize the timing of the delivery. |
