| Popis: | Hyperplasia of Brunner's glands of the duodenum and single and multiple adenomata arising from them have been well documented in the radiological and gastro-enterological literature (Berman and Goldberg, 1959; Culver and Caccese, 1957; Dodd, Fishler and Park, 1953; Erb and Johnson, 1948; Weinberg and Levin, 1965; Wilensky, 1948). However, no report has been found in the radiological literature of a retention cyst of one of these glands. Accordingly the following case report is considered to be of interest. A male patient (W.H.R.), age 54, was first seen in November, 1966 complaining of intermittent vomiting over the previous two years. Vomiting occurred approximately once per week often several hours after eating. He felt full even after a small meal but never had had any pain. There was a doubtful history of occasional melaena. |
