Popis: The friction coefficient of the runway surface with the wheels of the aircraft landing gear plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe landing. The main criterion for the need to measure the COP is any change in climatic conditions. The condition of the surface of the coating is estimated by the value of the normative adhesion coefficient. Currently, there are no generally accepted procedures for the development of methods and means of using frictionmeasuring devices. It is possible to calculate the COP indicator as accurately as possible only with the help of special equipment, for example, an airfield brake trolley (ATT). Peculiarities and advantages of the new technology for measuring CV using sensor systems. The system includes a group of weather sensors and a group of combined sensors. With the help of sensors, with each landing of an aircraft on the runway, the COP will be measured and relevant information will be transmitted to the traffic service. Estimated costs for the sensor system showed that the introduction of new technology is a good and profitable alternative to ATT.
