Popis: On the basis of the conducted full-scale and numerical experiment, the main indicators of the stress-strain state and the residual bearing capacity of reinforced concrete columns of a general, I-section transverse profile damaged during operation were established. Three main factors affecting the value of the residual bearing capacity of the elements have been identified. A three-level and three-factor experiment plan named after Box-Benkin was created, which made it possible to statistically substantiate the results (within the variation of variable factors) in the research of only 15 experimental columns. The proposed method for determining the residual bearing capacity was based on the main provisions of the Eurocode and the current standards and extends their effect to the case of oblique eccentricity compression caused not by the presence of eccentricities in the application of compressive force in two planes, but by concrete damage at a certain length of the element height. The main assumptions and prerequisites for calculating the bearing capacity have been developed and substantiated. Two types of damage are considered: axial - when the damage front is parallel to one of the main axes of the cross section and damage at an angle - when the precondition wasn’t met.
