Adenomyosis following endometrial resection-a retrospective study

Popis:	The aim of this study was to evaluate the presence of adenomyosis in women following endometrial resection who subsequently undergo hysterectomy. Out of 227 women who underwent endometrial resection 9.3% (21) subsequently had a hysterectomy. Of these, 28.5% were shown to have adenomyosis on histological examination compared with a case control group incidence of 7.5%.
