| Popis: | The effect of L-DOPA and L-tryptophan on the cerebral blood flow was studied in anaesthetized dogs injected intravenously with one or other of the drugs. Cerebral blood flow was measured with the radio-active gas elimination technique with external γ-registration. After L-DOPA there were signs of an increase of the cerebral blood flow followed later by a decrease. The effect of L-tryptophan on the cerebral blood flow in all experiments was a decrease. |
