Popis: | Age-specific recommendations contain extensive information that cannot be presented adequately in pediatric preventative care visits. Parental guidance is important, especially for children with social and/or medical risks, but existing evidence-based interventions tend to be resource intensive and difficult to scale. Because the use of mobile technology is now prevalent even among low-income families, the benefits of utilizing the Internet and mobile apps to improve parental guidance are active areas of research. Analyses of patient-generated data from mobile apps may help identify effective ways to use social influences, social learning, and social networks for improving population health. |
