| Popis: | Borgo and Kutz recently formulated five benchmark cases for comparing foundational ontologies, which are here addressed using the ontology PIMS-II (Physicalistic Interpretation of Modelling and Simulation - Interoperability Infrastructure), an implementation of mereosemiotics. This work was funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) through the National Research Data Infrastructure for Catalysis-Related Sciences (NFDI4Cat) within the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) programme of the Joint Science Conference (GWK).
