Popis: | The results of multiple transmyocardial punctures were studied in 12 dogs in which ligation of the left descending coronary artery had been performed. Instead of improvement, deterioration in the electrocardiogram, paradoxical movement, left ventricular pressure, left ventricular dp/dt max, and mean aortic flow were observed. These results are in contrast to the acute effects observed by Sen et al. (1965, 1968) but do not exclude the possibility of beneficial long-term effects. |
