Popis: | Timber is one of the oldest raw materials in construction, due to their availability worldwide, and the ease of using it. The majority of buildings in Brazil, until the Industrial Revolution, utilized this material as main input, rooting most of our cultural heritage in it. With the passage of time, as all materials, occurs the deterioration of these structural parts, where occasionally the partial replacement can solve the problem. This study aimed to analyze the relation between the amount of self-tapping screws and the rigidity product of composite mixed pieces of Eucalyptus sp and treated Pinus sp, simulating the rehabilitation of a structural piece in state of degradation, with the replacement of the degraded portion. |
