Popis: | Zinc oxide-eugenol (0.05 ml), chloropercha, eucapercha, and xylolpercha were injected into circumscribed areas (10 mm in diameter) in the dorsal subcutaneous tissue of rats. The animals were killed after 6 h and the tissues were processed, using routine histological techniques. Analysis of inflammation ratings showed that xylolpercha caused significantly more inflammation that either chlorophercha, eucapercha, or zinc oxide-eugenol. There were no significant differences between zinc oxide-eugenol, chloropercha, and eucapercha. |
