Popis: The present study, built using the method of an experience report, aims to describe the experience of developing an Internship in Psychology, carried out at a Welcome Center (CA) in the state of São de Paulo, in partnership with a University in the same state, in a care project for caregivers called “Place of Care”. For the construction of the same, we will present, first, a brief history of the type of institution in which we work; then, we will talk about the demand served and also about the main problems encountered in meeting it, including considering the pandemic. At the end, we will register the importance of the therapeutic group as a possible space for the mental health care of public policy workers aimed at the homeless population, while we encourage that strategies such as these should be increasingly present in the training process in Psychology.
