Aperture coupled L-shaped slot based Microstrip Patch Antenna for Multiband Wireless Communication

Popis: In this paper, a novel dual-wideband aperture coupled L-shaped slot based microstrip antenna is proposed with dimension 60mmX 40mm.The proposed antenna consist of the ring shape aperture at the ground plane that coupled the feed-line at the opposite side of the lower dielectric and patch at upper dielectric. Modes are excited and coupled by controlling the dimensions of the slot and patch. The ring shape slot hybrid structure is excited by using an offset microstrip feedline with rectangular stub. Simulated impedance bandwidth of the antenna are 24.06% (2.23-2.84 GHz) and 25.45% (4.8-6.2 GHz) at the lower band and upper band respectively under $\vert \mathrm {S}11 \vert$
