Popis:	From a 1H nmr study it has been possible to show that the eight-membered ring of the N,N′-disubstituted 3,4-dihydro-1,6-benzodiazocine-2,5-diones has a boat conformation, the interconversion barrier of which is slightly over 100 kJ/mol.
