Popis: Dicofol dusts and carbophenothion spray when applied aircraft failed to control the two spotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae Koch, on field beans. Monocrotophos at rates of 0.5, 0.75, and 1 lb/acre, Tartan® (O,O- diethyl phosphorothioate S -ester with N -(I-cyano-I-methylethyl)-2-mercaptoacetamide) at lib/acre, and Nemacur P® (ethyl 4-(methylthio)- m -tolyl isopropylphosphoramidate) at 1 lb/acre (all applied with a portable boom sprayer) gave good control of mites. Dicofol at 1 lb/acre (also applied with a portable boom sprayer) was nearly as effective in controlling mites as monocrotophos at ¾ lb/acre.
