TOTAL AND HIGH MOLECULAR WEIGHT ADIPONECTIN IN TYPE 2 DIABETIC PATIENTS WITH REGARD TO GENDER, GLYCEMIC CONTROL AND INSULIN RESISTANCE LEVEL

Popis:	The article reviewed world literature data along with own study findings regarding different multimeric adiponectin complexes, their functional activity and contribution of high molecular weight adiponectin as the most biologically active multimeric configuration in total adilponectin level in Type 2 diabetic patients. Usage of ratio «high molecular weight adiponectin / total adiponectin» for insulin sensitivity characteristic are discussed. In accordance with own findings significance of endogenous hyperinsulinemia for hypoadiponectemia development was verified without modulatory glycemic control impact but with gender differences preservation in Type 2 diabetic patients.
