Popis: | This paper investigates the influence that filtering of the ultraviolet part of the pumping radiation has upon the energy characteristics of neodymium phosphate glasses irradiated with gamma rays. The laser energy is illustrated in relative units for a nonirradiated active element of Li-Nd-La phosphate glass and for a reflector made from various types of quartz glass. The lasing characteristics of an active Li-Nd-La phosphate glass element change significantly when continous gamma irradiation takes place. |
