Popis: | Various research has confirmed the medicinal potential of Lavandula genera. The region of benisaf is known by three species of Lavendula genera; L. dentate, L. multimedia, L. stoechas. Our work is a phytochemical comparison study between leaves of these three species and evaluation of their antioxidant activity. For this approach we have started by simple phytochemical screening, then we have done the quantification of the phenolic compound; total phenols were evaluated using Folin sicaltieu methods, total flavonoids were estimated using the Tri chloral aluminum method and antioxidant activity was evaluated using DPPH scavenging methods. Our results highlight that the screened secondary metabolites are present in all three species, the quantification of the phenolic compounds has shown that L multifida is the richest in total phenols and L stoechas is the richest in total flavonoids. The evaluation of the antioxidant activity shows that L dentata has the most important antioxidant power |
