Popis:	Active imaging allows gases to be visualized in a real-time video format through their attenuation of backscattered laser radiation. Here we describe the development and testing of a battery-operated portable gas imager that employs a fiber-amplifier-pumped PPLN optical parametric oscillator as its illumination source.
