Popis: | Approaches to extending the capabilities of two optical-spectral techniques for characterizing nanoparticles in liquids are considered. The application of multiangle depolarized dynamic light scattering makes it possible to determine the diameter and length of cylinder-like nanoparticles. This technique was applied to estimate the parameters of single- and multiwall carbon nanotubes (CNTs) in water suspensions. The features of kinetics of atomization of colloids in a graphite-furnace atomic absorption spectrometer enable the determination of particle sizes in measurements of the mass concentration of elements. Two possible implementations of this technique differing in the form of the analytical signal are described. |
