Magnetic anomalies at charge-density-wave transitions in niobium triselenide

Popis: The magnetic susceptibility of niobium triselenide is suppressed at temperatures below each of the two charge-density-wave transitions previously observed. The reduction in the Pauli susceptibility is compensated to a large extent by an increase in the Van Vleck component associated with the appearance of the band-gaps.
